Why we were there: Monte Sano Arts Festival

When we were there: September 2020

How was the show: This show is set high up in the mountains and is beautiful! This was our first show during the pandemic and everyone was very respectful. We usually stay in the five points neighborhood which is pretty cute and good for walks.

Where did we go: This year we spent some time visiting the Huntsville Botanical Garden - a beautiful meandering stroll. In 2019 when we attended this show we visited the Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment. This converted mill is full of super cool art installations, studios, and galleries. We also visited the Weeden House Museum because I have a thing about house tours. To that point we did drive around and located Wernher Von Braun’s home. It is a mid-century home in a wooded area, that looked lovely but we were not offered a tour. On our way home we stopped at the Barber Motorsport Museum - a pilgrimage of sorts for Blake who is a motorsport fan.
